Paul C. Balassa, Esq.

Paul C. Balassa is a Member and Manager of The Law Office of Paul C. Balassa, LLC.  His practice encompasses an array of individuals and business entities across the mid-Atlantic region. 

Before opening his own practice, Mr. Balassa served as Special Counsel for a national franchisor as well as Staff Attorney for a premier provider of comprehensive staffing solutions.  Paul is also a former Captain in the U.S. Army and a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom.  He and his family live in Severn, Maryland and he is an active member of Annapolis Lodge No. 89 A.F.&A.M.

Paul's areas of practice include:

- all stages of the contract life-cycle for individuals, small businesses, and franchisees;

- business counseling (e.g. choosing the right entity and managing it in an appropriate manner);

- commercial collections;

- business litigation (including disputes regarding non-compete agreements);

- alternative dispute resolution; and

- criminal defense.
